Ray is a founding associate and joined Avalon in 2001 to set up the equity trading desk. He served as the Head of Equity Trading for over 6 years and was also an Equity Analyst. Ray is currently the Vice President of Operations and works in all aspects of operations including finance, HR and technology and is responsible for accounts payable and the firm’s technical support. Ray started his career in finance in 1998 as a Series 7 and Series 66 licensed financial planner at Prudential. He then joined Morgan Stanley in 1999 and worked for several of Avalon’s Founding Partners as an equity trader. Ray graduated from Baylor University in 1996.
