Originally from Durban, South Africa, Linda moved to Cape Town where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics from the University of Cape Town in 1994, followed by 2 years of Actuarial Studies through the Institute of Actuaries, London. Upon graduation, Linda spent 7 years working in operational management and financial reporting roles with several South African investment companies in Cape Town and was the Business Analyst for an online retailer. Linda moved to the United States and joined Avalon in September of 2001 and was promoted to Vice President in January 2006. Linda is the Senior Portfolio Administrator for the Avalon Investment team. Her duties in this role include the day to day oversight of all separately managed Core Equity accounts as well as the overall administration for all of Avalon’s client reporting.
