Peggy E. Lebert
Chief Compliance Officer
Originally from Fairbanks, Alaska, Peggy graduated as a Durant Scholar, magna cum laude, from Wellesley College and began her career as a credit analyst with Chemical Bank in New York City. She was admitted to the Kellogg School of Management as an Austin Scholar, and following her graduation in 1982, she returned to New York to join Goldman, Sachs & Co. There, Peggy held various roles in Private Wealth Management and Compliance until relocating to Houston in 2012 to join Avalon Advisors as Chief Compliance Officer. In addition to her role as CCO, Peggy leads the Client and Account Administration team.
