Deborah joined Avalon in 2006 and has extensive experience in equity trading, having headed trading desks for First City Bank, Texas Commerce Bank and Chase Asset Management during her career. As the Head of Equity Trading for Chase, Deborah led a team of six buy side traders based in Houston, responsible for serving the needs of private client, institutional, and mutual fund portfolio managers nationwide. After leaving Chase in late 2001, Deborah joined the investment management group at Amegy Bank. Immediately prior to joining Avalon Advisors, Deborah was Head of Equity Trading for the Houston Office of Stephens Investment Management Group.
